2023 was a productive year for the FW de Klerk Foundation.
We continued to advocate for the causes for which FW de Klerk worked and honoured him through a number of cornerstone events.
At the the FW de Klerk Foundation’s Annual Conference, held in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Elita de Klerk, the Foundation’s Chairperson, presented the Goodwill Award to the Free Market Foundation’s Khaya Lam Project.
The FW de Klerk Foundation’s Annual Conference, hosted in conjunction with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, commemorates the anniversary of the speech by FW de Klerk that initiated South Africa’s constitutional transformation process.
The FW de Klerk Foundation held their annual conference at the Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town with esteemed guests and speaker, one of them being Trevor Manuel, South Africa’s past Minister of Finance and previous anti-Apartheid activist.
