The FW de Klerk Foundation works to promote and defend the Constitution – the cornerstone of South Africa’s future freedom, political stability and economic prosperity.  You can support its work in the following ways:

MAKE A DONATION

The Foundation is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and a registered Non-Profit Organisation. Donations are tax deductable and the Foundation issues certificates in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act No 58 of 1962 to all donors.

  • If you are a United States taxpayer, you can make a donation to the Foundation via the The Foundation for Peace in Divided Societies, Foundation for Peace in Divided Societies.

  • Leave a bequest to the Foundation. You can leave cash, shares or any other property to the Foundation by adding a codicil to your will or by including provision in a new will
  • International Donor Support Programme. The Foundation assists international donors who wish to support worthy welfare causes in South Africa by identifying NGOs with proven track records, negotiating with agencies and channeling payments. Donors receive regular progress reports and the Foundation does not charge for these services. Examples of projects supported by this programme may be found here.

BECOME A MEMBER OF THE FW DE KLERK FOUNDATION

Personal Membership

You can become a member of the Foundation by payment of only R240 per annum. Membership will entitle you to priority receipt of all the Foundation’s published articles, podcasts and reports.

Gold Membership

For an annual payment of R 1 000, you will receive an invitation to the Foundation’s Annual Conference; the FW de Klerk Memorial Lecture; and Launches of the Foundation’s Annual Report Cards and Gala Dinner. You will also enjoy free access to the Centre for the Constitutional Transformation of South Africa Exhibition in Cape Town – and will be sent a copy of FW de Klerk’s autobiography The Last Trek – A New Beginning.
