On 2 April 2025, a FW de Klerk Foundation delegation visited The Cape Town Society for the Blind’s campus to learn more about how they empower and support the visually impaired.
On 23 April 2025, a FW de Klerk Foundation delegation visited Life Choices’ campus to learn more about the youth empowerment programmes that they run.
On 25 April 2025, a FW de Klerk Foundation delegation visited U-turn and learned more about the important services that they provide for the homeless.
On 15 April 2025, a FW de Klerk Foundation delegation visited the Breakfast Club at the Good Hope Seminary Junior School in Vredehoek, Cape Town.
After FW de Klerk’s passing, the FW de Klerk Foundation entered a period of deep introspection regarding its future role and orientation. Eventually, the Foundation decided to continue with its existing vision to be a self-sustaining organisation that promotes – and that will, in the long term, continue to promote the South African Constitution; national unity, reconciliation and the accommodation of diversity; and the legacy of President FW de Klerk and the South African constitutional transformation process.
