My starting point in writing this was when I lost my husband on 11 November 2021. Then I
encountered a lot of mixed messages – many were full of hatred. At the time, I was aware I had to
personally walk through my pain, and not try to avoid it. Face it, head on.

On Thursday 14 November, the Centre for Unity in Diversity (CUD) hosted its fourth Roundtable Discussion at SunSquare Hotel in Cape Town.
The Board of Trustees of the FW de Klerk Foundation wishes to appoint a suitably-qualified person to take over as head of the Foundation, with effect from 1 June 2019 (or as soon as possible thereafter). This is a full-time, Cape Town-based position.
As you know, the FW de Klerk Foundation’s first and foremost objective is to defend and promote the Constitution. On a macro level, the Constitution acts as the cornerstone for the South African society. Acting as an advocacy think tank for the Constitution and its values, the Foundation monitors public and private policy measures, to ensure that these are in line with the Constitution, and points out when they are not.
