On 4 June 2025, the FW de Klerk Foundation hosted representatives of the tourism sector and tourism operators working in Cape Town at a morning briefing.

During the briefing in-depth discussions relating to the role of tourism in the economy, the work of the Foundation and the significance of the Centre for the Constitutional Transformation of South Africa – which gives an overview of South Africa’s transition from apartheid to a democratic state – were had.
