On Thursday, 14 September, the Centre for Unity in Diversity (CUD), in collaboration with the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Rights Commission) and supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) hosted their third Roundtable Discussion for 2017. The topic was “Balancing Religion, Custom and Constitutionalism”. Speakers included Ms Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva, Chairperson of the CRL Rights Commission, and Prof Pieter Coertzen, Constitutional Expert and Chair of the SA Council for Religious Rights and Freedoms. The Discussion was held at the CRL Rights Commission Offices in Johannesburg.
