The Centre for Constitutional Rights (CFCR) launched its flagship publication, the Human Rights Report Card, on 17 March 2017. The launch event was hosted in collaboration with the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Rights Commission) and supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS). Speakers included Dr Aninka Claassens, land rights expert and Director of the Land and Accountability  Research Centre at the University of Cape Town; Ms Nomboniso Gasa, researcher, analyst and public speaker on gender, politics, leadership and cultural issues; Ms Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva, Chairperson of the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities; and Justice Albie Sachs, former Constitutional Court Judge.
