This international and interdisciplinary workshop will examine both the achievements of past years and the difficulties that have emerged along the way. To do so, we will bring together a specially strong and diverse group of participants—constitutional law experts, South African and American; “law and society” scholars; innovative legal educators; and public interest lawyers—for a sustained inquiry in large settings and small ones, formal and informal, over four days together.
