The FW de Klerk Foundation, in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), hosted a conference in Johannesburg on:
“PROPERTY RIGHTS FOR ALL SOUTH AFRICANS – AND THE ROLE THAT LAND REFORM CAN PLAY IN EXPANDING PROPERTY RIGHTS”
Various speakers first highlighted the centrality of property rights in successful economies and democracies, whereafter the three areas in which property rights should and could be expanded, were explored. These are property rights in urban areas, agricultural land and communal land.
