Minority rights are the normal individual rights as applied to members of racial, ethnic, class, religious, linguistic or gender and sexual minorities; and also the collective rights accorded to any minority group.

supporting cultural, religious and linguistic rights, and working for national unity;

monitoring developments that might affect inter-community relations;

opposing discrimination and hate speech; and

participating in the national debate on inter-community relations and the rights of cultural, religious and linguistic communities.
