Ek het teruggekeer na Kaapstad om \u2019n internskap by die FW de Klerk Stigting te voltooi om hierdie belangstelling na te volg. Tydens my tyd by die Stigting het ek navorsing gedoen oor die ondermyning van onafhanklikheid in die Nasionale Vervolgingsgesag en het ook gekyk na die bre\u00ebr uitwerking wat dit op die Suid-Afrikaanse Grondwet het. Mnr Steward was baie behulpsaam met my navorsing en het geweldig baie kennis ten opsigte van die Grondwet en die NVG met my gedeel. Ek het ook Johan, Jacques en Megan gehelp met die Menseregte-verslagkaart vir 2013 en dit het my insig gegee in die huidige maatskaplike en ekonomiese uitdagings in Suid-Afrika, met inbegrip van onderwys, arbeidsverhoudinge en korrupsie. My tyd by die Stigting het my nie net gehelp om die kwessies wat Suid-Afrika raak, beter te verstaan nie, maar het ook my belangstelling geprikkel om korrupsie en die oppergesag van die reg in Suid-Afrika na te vors.
