Jeanette de Klerk-Luttig is fascinated by the manner in which values are instilled and character is built in families, schools and societies. She was a teacher and trained student teachers for 26 years in the Faculty of Education at the University of Stellenbosch. She published several papers in national and international journals and often writes articles for newspapers. She is associated with the Office for Moral Leadership at the University of Stellenbosch and works in schools and municipalities to instil core values.

She is convinced that quality education for all learners in South Africa is the key solution to many of the problems of our country.
